Gandhi House (Green)

“Greatness is not simply achieved; it is crafted with dedication, resilience, and an unbreakable spirit.” This year, Gandhi House truly lived up to our motto, “Life–Brotherhood–Ahimsa,” shining in every field under the inspiring leadership of House Master Mr. Himanshu Grover and House Mistress Mrs. Rafat Naseer.
Captain Dev Yadav displayed commendable dedication, winning the Global Icon Award and securing zonal titles for three consecutive years. As a UN and BIS volunteer, he contributed meaningfully to various initiatives.
Vice-Captain Bhavya Goel excelled in debating and public speaking, winning inter-school debates and MUNs, and representing the school beyond the city.
Cultural Prefect Vinay Nagar led with energy, excelling in inter-house cultural and sports events.
Sports Captain Joel Breganza, a four-time Zonal Champion, shone in sprints and relays at both zonal and inter-house levels.
Our junior leaders—Captain Divyanshu Garg, Sports Captain Aarav Verma, and Cultural Prefect Rumeha Fatima—mentored middle-section students, ensuring smooth coordination and fostering teamwork and discipline.
In athletics, Gandhi House was led by our “Golden Boy” Rino Iype and “Golden Girl” Avni Singhal, whose skill and dedication inspired all. Preet Ahuja brought great energy and team spirit to relay events, further strengthening our athletic presence. Though runners-up on Sports Day, Gandhi House proudly won the Cork House Trophy, Best Marching House Cup, and both Best Junior and Senior Girls Athlete Trophies.
We are equally proud of our other athletes, whose dedication uplifted our house. Their tenacity, grace, and skill elevated our house and demonstrated the heart of true sportsmanship.
During Celestia, Gandhi House played a pivotal role, winning 1st place in flagship events like Modelling and Semi-Classical Dance, and 2nd in Ad Zap and Dramatics. These achievements contributed to securing 3rd position overall, highlighting the creativity and commitment of our cultural team.
Our triumphs in inter-house events—across football, basketball, cricket, and several other sports—demonstrated our strong teamwork and dominance in a variety of athletic arenas.
As we look ahead, we embrace the spirit of unity and perseverance that defines us. This year’s accomplishments lay the foundation for even greater successes. United and determined, Gandhi House is ready to reach new heights.
