St. Mary’s Academy witnessed not just a retirement, but the turning of two glorious pages in its history.
After years of devoted service, Mr. R. O. Newton, H.O.D. Physical Education, and Mr. Devendra Sir bid farewell to the institution that had become their second home. Under the guidance of Brother Anand, Brother Sebastian and Brother Pradeep, the students curated a heartfelt celebration in their honour.
The ceremony began with a graceful Vandana by the Primary Wing, followed by vibrant performances from the Middle and Senior Wings that filled the atmosphere with nostalgia and joy. The soulful melody of “Tum Bhool Na Payoge” stirred every heart, while a lively quiz added warmth and laughter to the occasion.
Amid bouquets, memories, and moist eyes, both stalwarts expressed gratitude for a journey defined by dedication and discipline. In his address, Rev. Brother Anand lauded their invaluable contribution and congratulated them on a well-earned retirement.
Though they step away from duty, their legacy shall forever resonate within the spirit of St. Mary’s Academy.
