St. Mary’s Academy proudly celebrated its Investiture Ceremony with grace and enthusiasm. The event began with a traditional welcome dance, its rhythmic elegance creating an atmosphere of warmth and reverence.
The Head Council, including the Head Boy, Head Girl, Assistant Heads, and Junior Section leaders, were conferred with their badges. The oath was administered by Rev. Bro. Anand, as the leaders pledged to serve with responsibility and integrity. The badges were pinned by Chief Guest Brigadier Shabbarul Hasan, SM, and Mrs. Saeeda Hasan, while proud parents draped the sashes.
We were privileged to host Brigadier Shabbarul Hasan, SM, Deputy general officer commanding, headquarters 9 infantry division and artillery officer, known for his leadership and service in challenging environments. Accompanying him, Mrs. Saeeda Hasan, an accomplished educator with diverse experiences, brought warmth and inspiration to the occasion.
House leaders of Shastri, Gandhi, Nehru, and Tagore were also inducted, followed by a vibrant western dance and the investiture of the Editorial Board, Tech Board, and Student Innovation Society (SIS).
Rev. Bro. Anand's vision of value-based leadership helped imbibe a spirit of leadership in the students which has helped make such leaders, while the Chief Guest inspired students to be good human beings, appreciate their parents, and balance studies with responsibilities.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, a unity song, and the school song marking the beginning of a new journey of leadership and service.
