Today, we witnessed one of the most sacred and solemn occasions in the calendar of St. Mary’s Academy — The Investiture Ceremony — a celebration of trust, responsibility, and the official induction of our young torchbearers into the student council.
The morning began with a soul-stirring invocation dance, invoking divine grace and setting an ethereal tone. What followed was a cascade of memorable moments: the pinning of badges by the housemasters and teachers, a symbolic gesture affirming duty and dedication; the oath-taking ceremony, administered by our revered Brother Principal, wherein our leaders pledged allegiance to the values and ethos of our institution.
Our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Puneet Bhasin, an acclaimed expert in the medical field, graced the occasion with his presence and delivered an inspiring message that resonated deeply with all present. His words reminded us that leadership is not a title, but a continuous act of service and purpose.
The vibrant Western dance by the St. Mary’s Family enthralled the audience, while the Unity Song — a harmonious blend of melody and meaning — stood out as the highlight of the day, echoing the spirit of solidarity and shared dreams.
Leaders from all four houses — Tagore, Shastri, Gandhi, and Nehru — stood proud as their badges were pinned, their eyes reflecting the promise of a meaningful journey ahead. The ceremony culminated with the stirring notes of our school song, a powerful reminder of the legacy we carry and the future we forge.
A heartfelt thank you to our Chief Guest for his invaluable presence, to Brother Principal for being the guiding light behind every endeavor, and to every soul — from the decorators to the performers — who contributed to the grandeur and grace of this unforgettable day.
Here’s to a year of courage, compassion, and commitment. May our leaders rise with wisdom, lead with integrity, and inspire with every step.
